Comparative Study of Dexmedtomidine & Propofol Infusion for Intro-Operative Hemodynamic & Recovery Characteristics in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy – A Prospective, Randomized Control Study

Objective: This study aims to compare the effectiveness of dexmedetomidine and propofol in responding hemodynamic changes pneumoperitoneum during laparoscopic cholecystectomy, as well evaluate differences time it takes extubate, patient's status upon extubation, level sedation following occurrence any side effects. Study Design: Prospective, Randomized Controlled Trial Place Duration: Liaquat National Hospital Medical College, Karachi.
